Our hours.
Sunday - Thursday: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Friday - Saturday: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Summer Hours: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily.

Our food. We do something almost no restaurants in our price range do today.
We make virtually everything from scratch!
- Make our own breads and rolls every day!
- Prepare our vegetables fresh daily!
- Bake our desserts from scratch, including our famous Chocolate Stuff and fresh whipped cream.
- Hand batter and prepare to order our Chicken Fingers, Chicken Fried Steak, Coconut Shrimp, Fried Shrimp, Fried Fish Fillets, and Catfish!
- Slow roast our Pot Roast over night!
- Make our own salad dressings!
- Prepare fresh soups from our special home-style recipes, including our popular She Crab Soup!
- AND OF COURSE, our Crab Cakes are made fresh from our own secret recipe and prepared daily. If you try them, we assure you that you will understand why they are getting mentioned in Southern Living, Water's Edge, and Jacksonville Magazine!
You get the idea. Food quality is our number one priority! We even have letters from Bon Appetit Magazine requesting the recipes for our She Crab Soup and Chocolate Stuff. While we appreciate the attention from a prestigious culinary magazine, we chose to keep the recipes a secret. We want you to keep returning to Barbara Jean's for tasty home-style cooking at great prices, excellent service, and a pleasant, casual atmosphere!
