St. Simons Island is the crown jewel of Southeast Georgia’s "Golden Isles". Twenty minutes from Interstate 95, the island is a stunningly beautiful mixture of Live Oak canopied roads, brilliant green golf courses, lazy beaches and open water recreation of all kinds. The “Village” is the center of the island’s shopping, restaurant and nightlife activities. The pier sits at one end and the 150 year-old St. Simons Island Lighthouse casts its protecting shadow over the adjacent park, old “casino” and shops. Directions: From the north, Exit 38 from Interstate 95 and follow the signs to St. Simons Island. From the south, Exit 29 from Interstate 95 and follow the signs to St. Simons Island. Immediately after crossing the causeway, bear right on Kings Way. Pass the flashing light and then turn right at the second full cycle traffic light. That is Mallory St. We are down the street one block on the left at the corner of Mallory and Beachview, under the big sign. |
